It is rather disappointing when good shows are canceled before many episodes are made. Especially now that people apparently think 8-10 episodes qualify as a season! (I'm used to the pre-COVID 24-eps per season as a norm).

If it sounds intriguing and it's been rec'd, why not? I'd think it's a perfect show to write about. If it's been canceled, a Fanfic writer can go wherever they want with it... and other fans may be thrilled.
