Title: I Know Your Face
Characters: Daniel, Charlotte.
Pairing: Daniel/Charlotte
Rating: G
Warnings: Spoilers for S5
Summary: Written for
angeldylan628 and
bold_seer, who requested "be brief" at
lostsquee Summer Luau. Daniel realises why Charlotte is familiar to him.
Daniel hadn’t thought much of it when Charlotte said he looked familiar and asked if they’d met before. Because the sarcastic remark Keamy had made when he heard her was true: he probably wouldn’t have remembered even if they had.
He didn’t even remember anything when they’d first got to the island. Mr. Widmore had said that when he got there, his memory would be healed, but when Charlotte tested him, he couldn’t even remember all three stupid playing cards.
But when Charlotte said she recognised him, Daniel realised why he knew her too. And he knew why he’d been upset the day he’d been watching the footage of the fake crash, knew the face he had seen flash before his eyes as he watched, the woman before him now.
