He could do with Caroline or Elena here right now, Alaric thinks as he watches Kaleb leading MG down the path of his first taste of human blood.

They were the ones who'd been there for Stefan as he'd dealt with his own lust for human blood, as Damon and Klaus had led him down that path, and they would be the ones who would know how to help him to help MG now.

It's down to Alaric now to do what he can to help MG, to handle Kaleb, to support Dorian through dealing with his own memories that that had triggered, and he will do the best he can, so that MG doesn't become Ripper!Stefan all over again.

It's a fucking joke, Liam thinks as he hears You All Everybody on the radio for the umpteenth time and reaches to switch it off.

All Charlie had ever wanted was for DriveSHAFT to become a household name, for everyone to be singing their songs, and the thing that finally led to that was the disappearance of Oceanic Flight 815, the song's everywhere now, and he's not even here to see it.

When Liam hears the song, he thinks about how he tried to take over the chorus to the song at that concert, how that had led Charlie to try the heroin for the first time, how it had been the beginning of the end for the band, for them, how he messed up and is never going to get to make things right.

Mallory hadn’t known what to think when she opened the door to the cockpit and saw that no one was flying the plane.

Considering the bomb alert that had just been sent out to the entire city, the entire world, she should just be relieved that she was getting to escape the fate that otherwise would have been hers.

But had Mallory known what awaited her in the future with the bunker, with Ms Venable, with Michael Langdon, she would have known that the fact that no one was flying the plane was the last thing she should be worried about.

He thinks back to himself as a demon, and as Michael's vessel, and Soulless Sam, Castiel as God, and wonders which of them was truly the monster.


Pretty Little Liars, any character, truths (Charlotte)

Sometimes Charlotte wonders what would happen if she stood up at one of those family dinners and announced that she wasn’t CeCe Drake at all, but Charlotte DiLaurentis, the secret child they had hidden away, swept under the carpet as though she didn’t exist.

Maybe Ali would accept her, be able to love her as her sister, but she’s not sure about Jason (in hindsight, going along with the relationship had been a mistake, but at the time it had seemed the easiest way for her to get close to the family).

As she listens to Jessica passing judgement on all her friends’ relationships, Charlotte imagines the looks on Jessica and Kenneth’s faces as she exposes their carefully constructed façade with the truth.


Legends of Tomorrow, Constantine/Desmond/any, threesome

When Desmond had talked about the idea of introducing someone else to their bed, Constantine had been willing to do anything he asked; he’d been unable to resist the chance to go back there, have a bit more time with Desmond, make him happy before the past version of Constantine was going to have to send him to hell.

Gary had loved the chance to be taken back into Constantine’s past, saying in his own inimitable Gary way that sometimes he wanted to get out of the Bureau and in the field.

As Constantine sees how happy both men are, because of him, he’s happy that he could do this one last thing.

In some ways it was easier for him to be back in space, because that was where Monty had been happy, where he’d had his family, he’d had Jasper, and he’d had no reason to think that was going to change.

Earth was the place where he’d formed his relationship with Harper; yet it was also the place of his experience with the Mountain Men, where he’d assisted Bellamy and Clarke in ending them, leading to Maya’s death and the deterioration of his friendship with Jasper before he took his own life, where he’d thought he was forced to kill his own mother after she fell under the influence of ALIE, only then to find out there was a way she could have been saved.

On Earth, Monty’s confronted with these memories every day; maybe in space, he can be happy again.

When Barry had told him about the gangster Cisco that John Deegan had written into existence, Cisco wondered if there was a version of him like that in any other universe.

“Would you really want to know if that was the case?” Barry asked.

“I’ve thought about it, wondered if I’m an evil meta, or sometimes I’ve wondered about the simple things, like about other universes where Dante’s still alive,” (he deliberately didn’t mention wondering about a universe where he made it work with Gypsy) “but to be honest, I’d rather know if the other Ciscos are happy.”

He thought he would be safe, that they all would be, if he no longer remembered his name was Elijah Mikaelson, that he was an Original vampire, that he had siblings named Niklaus, Rebekah and Kol.

Yet removing his memories did not remove his need for blood, did not remove who Elijah was.

As Marcel sees that Elijah finds him familiar, sees how the roses wilt and the water turns to blood when he unknowingly encounters his siblings, he realises that in compelling Elijah he had not removed the danger at all.


Any, hero/villain, I don’t care if Heaven won’t take me back (SPN, Gabriel/Rowena)

He knows Heaven won’t take him back, no matter how short they are of angels, not with his history of faking his death, his cowardice, of being a Trickster. And especially not once they heard the story of him and the porn stars.

But here in this moment, in the bunker with Rowena, Gabriel’s good with that, thinking he’s happy where he is, with her.


Any, any, darling I’m a nightmare dressed like a daydream (TVD, Katherine)

She watches the look on both Stefan and Damon's faces as they see her approaching.

Once upon a time, that expression had really been intended for her; now as they watch her, they think she's the saintly Elena Gilbert, the pathetic vapid little doppelganger who has taken her place in both their hearts.

In time she'll reveal her true self to them, but Katherine is determined to have her fun first.

The old story of Hansel and Gretel always told of how they wandered off the path and into the woods, leading them to the house of sweets.

As Henry Mills watches his old friend Jack, who he now knows to be Hansel, being taken away by Rogers, he wonders at what point in his life he had wandered from the path and down the road that led him to become the Hyperion Heights serial killer.

If Jack had felt able to confide in Henry about his past, would there have been anything Henry could have done to save him?

They'd laughed it off that weekend away with the girls, when it was pointed out that Archie and Jughead were the only combination out of the four who had never kissed. But when Jughead's mother had made the assumption that they were together, both of them started wondering if maybe she was on to something.

They wonder now how it took them so long to realise that they were meant to be.

They call her the Girl on Fire, and Plutarch had seen that in her ever since she managed to knock him flying at her first Games.

He watches her now, and knows she is the right person to be the figurehead for the rebellion.

Everyone must play their part; yet Plutarch knows that if they are to have any chance of success, all hope lies with the Girl on Fire.

For stydia, Riverdale, Betty/Jughead, he came from the wrong side of town

Betty’s mother wouldn’t have approved of anyone she had dated; the fact that Jughead came from the south side of the town was merely an additional irritant to her. Betty could have probably brought Prince William home and Alice Cooper would have criticised him for having divorced parents/losing his hair/having a disgrace like Harry for a brother or something equally stupid.

She didn’t know then that part of Alice’s disapproval stemmed from the fact that he was the son of F.P. Jones, the man who had witnessed her arguing with Betty’s father in the moment of telling him she was pregnant (not that F.P. even knew exactly what he had witnessed anyway). Betty just thought it was because he was from the wrong side of town. But it didn’t matter to her, or to Jughead, never had. What mattered was that he understood her better than anyone, supported her with her search for Polly and with everything else going on in her life, was a great listener. Who cared that he came from a Southside Serpent background?

Then had come his move to Southside High, and Betty had taken one look at Jughead laughing with the group of kids, looking comfortable in a way he never really had at their school, wearing the Serpents jacket, and she started wondering if they belonged to two separate worlds after all.

For captandor, Game of Thrones, any of the Starks, To forget one's purpose is the commonest form of stupidity

Catelyn had warned Robb that he was making a mistake, but he had chosen to put her warnings aside. Robb should have remembered that he was a king first and foremost, King of the North, not a lover. In making the marriage with House Frey, Robb could have solidified his claim to the throne, maintained the alliance.

Instead he put the alliance aside in favour of the secret marriage with Talisa, angering the house of Frey, imagining everything would work out because he had Talisa by his side.

As Catelyn realised that Roose Bolton had come prepared for war, she realised that Robb’s having forgotten his purpose in being a king had become his undoing.

For stydia, Teen Wolf, Malia/Scott, cold comfort

Malia looks at Scott and knows that he’s with her because she’s there, just as she’s with him for the same reason. In theory, as a werewolf, he should be better suited to her coyote nature than the human Stiles, but it was true what she had said when they were trying to get him back, Stiles had always been the person to keep her tethered to her human nature. Stiles was with Lydia now, and Malia cannot begrudge that; Lydia is her best friend, and she also knows that Lydia was the one to remember him, to keep the faith, where Malia had allowed Stiles to fade from her mind. Yet now she cannot help but think of him, knowing he is no longer hers.

As for Scott, Malia knows he is looking at her and thinking Allison, just as she thinks Kira had known deep down too, wonders how much of a part that played in her leaving.

They know it’s not the real thing, but they will take comfort in each other for now.

For bm_shipper, Supergirl/Flash, Winn/Cisco, soulmates

“So, you’re Cisco?” Winn asked. “Dude, I finally get to talk to the real you! Kara’s talked a lot about you, and I’d always hoped that one day I’d get to meet you.”

“Really?” Cisco asked. He hadn’t really known what to expect when he picked up the device, just known that he’d been fascinated by the idea of actually using it to call another universe. It seemed kind of crazy to be so excited by it. He’d been to other universes before, including Winn’s, and he’d even met another version of himself. So why was he so excited at the thought of talking to this guy?

“Sure! Ever since Barry and Kara first told me about you. From the way Kara talked, I was pretty sure you could be my BFF. Seems like we have a lot in common.”

Cisco looked forward to finding out whether that was true.


“Okay, so on your universe, Buffy was on the air for another two years, and Anya survived right to the end?” Cisco asked. He and Winn had been chatting for most days now, and discovered they had been right in thinking they could be best friends; they had so many things in common, from their taste in music to shows, even if they were discovering that there were different canons in different universes. “Not sure how I feel about that, she was never really one of my favourites.”

“But not as annoying as Dawn!” both said together, and burst out laughing (they were finding they had quite a lot of moments like that too).

“Okay, do we have some kind of Vulcan mind meld?” Cisco asked.

“I’m just happy to finally be around someone who gets the reference, without me having to nag that person to watch the show, like I did with my friend Mon-El and Star Wars!” Winn laughed. But he knew exactly what Cisco meant, because he felt a connection with him that he’d never felt with anyone.


Winn hadn’t yet told James, or Kara, or anyone that he was considering leaving his universe to be with Cisco. It wasn’t the right time to tell Kara after Mon-El, and James was still struggling with his feelings of being like a spare part. But Winn couldn’t put it off forever. He hated living in a separate universe from his soulmate, knowing how much he was missing out on from Cisco’s life. From the day they first chatted to now, the connection had grown, and Winn knew what he had to do.


For eternal_moonie, Supergirl/Legends of Tomorrow, Kara Danvers/Sara Lance, having just said goodbye to Mon-El, Kara is heartbroken and seeks comfort from Sara Lance. (P.S. I still want to use Iris for this idea too!)


Sara understood why Kara had come to her, looked into her eyes as Kara begged and pleaded with her to use the Waverider to take her back so she could fix things somehow, to go back, grab Mon-El and take him to Sara’s universe where the lead wouldn’t be a problem, to grab him and escape from Rhea’s ship and allow Alex to fire, even just to speak to Lena and warn her about Rhea so Rhea would never have had the chance to invade Earth at all.

She looked into Kara’s eyes and saw the same expression that had once been in her own when she had been tempted to take out Damien Darhk before he could kill Laurel, when she had wondered about the possibility of bringing Leonard Snart back, for Mick as well as for herself, and in Martin Stein’s once he had realised he had a daughter he shouldn’t have had because he had changed time.

“I know, Kara,” she said, taking Kara into her arms. “I understand, I’ve been there. But we can’t change what happened, it’s too dangerous to do that.”

“I miss him so much, Sara,” Kara whispered.

“I know, and I will help you, I’m here for you,” Sara replied as she pulled Kara closer.
