lost_in_108 prompt #54: nightmare. Ethan confides in Ben about his nightmare visions of his dead mother.
Ethan used to have nightmares while his mother was still alive, after nights of being kept awake while his parents yelled at each other, usually about someone named Paul.
He saw her again after she died, calling to him. “I didn’t want to leave you. It was your father who wanted to have another child. That’s why I’m dead.”
Ethan told Ben about the nightmare; Ben didn’t seem surprised. “It’s DHARMA’s experiments that have caused this pregnancy problem. That’s why Amy died. But don’t worry. I’ve been talking to the Hostiles about putting a stop to them. You can help me, Ethan. But you’ll have to be patient.”
