(no subject)
Mar. 17th, 2023 10:42 pmSince I'm in the process of transferring 3 sentence fics as well as old Lost ones over to AO3, here are my last ones from the 3 sentence ficathon:
Wednesday, Wednesday/Tyler, where do we go from here?
By rights, Wednesday should be celebrating, if that were a thing that she did; she’d found out who the monster was, and Laurel Gates was defeated. Yet a part of her knew that the story with Tyler was not over; Wednesday still wondered if there was someone else behind the scenes with some control over Tyler. And she still wondered where things with her and Tyler would have gone had he not turned out to be the Hyde.
Any, any, what is freedom? (Elite, Sara)
Raul had said he would help her cover it up; as far as Mencia’s concerned, she was driving Patrick’s car when Ivan was knocked down, and if suspicion ever did turn towards Sara, he would provide her with an alibi.
Sara had thought that he was helping her keep her freedom; he’d promised to change his ways, no more expecting Sara to account for every minute to him, to walk away from any friends he disapproved of.
Yet leopards never change their spots; as Sara considered the prospects of a prison sentence versus a life with Raul, she wondered which of the two options was really freedom.
Baby Sitters Club (any format), Kristy, Patrick (her father) comes back for a visit.
It was weird for them all in different ways; David Michael because he didn’t have any real memories of Patrick and had only ever known Watson as a father figure, Charlie and Sam because they did have more memories of having had the relationship with Patrick and the betrayal of his sudden absence from their lives.
For Kristy, who had had some memories of him but a lot were blurry, she did want to get to know more about him; did Patrick enjoy sports like her, was he a dog person?
In the end, he turned up late, to the point where they were beginning to think he wasn’t coming at all, and barely stayed half an hour, didn’t ask any of them questions about their lives now, and after he’d gone, Kristy thought how she’d never appreciated her stepfather more.
Any | Any | Changeling (Fate: The Winx Saga, Bloom)
Bloom’s never told anyone that she sometimes wonders about the other Bloom, the child who was actually born to the Peters family.
It had made sense in a way when she’d first found out, how she’d never felt like she quite fit, yet at the same time, there’s a part of her that wishes she’d never told her parents about that, because every so often she’d caught them looking at her and been sure they were wondering what the other Bloom would have been like.
There was no way anyone was ever going to know, since the other child had died shortly after birth, and Bloom also knows they’re not going to come right out and say it, but in a way it had been a relief to return to Alfea after that break she and her friends had spent in the First World, because even with Rosalind’s taking power, and the arrival of the Blood Witches, Bloom doesn’t have to think about the other baby any more.
Any, any, who wants prince charming when you can have a snarky knight?
Percival couldn’t deny it, he could see the appeal of Prince Arthur. But even if he wasn’t already spoken for by Merlin (the knights all knew, much as they tried to hide it) he was only ever going to see Arthur as friend material. He smiled as he looked at Gwaine curled up next to him; Percival had no need for a Prince Charming when he was happier with his own snarky knight.
Any Fandom | Any Characters/Pairings |“Try and look at it from his point of view, he lost his brother!”/“And I lost my boyfriend/husband/whatever!”
Zoey knew she shouldn’t skip any more school, but she still wished she’d taken the water taxi instead of letting Benjamin and Nina talk her into the ferry when she saw Jake, Claire by his side, talking about how much happier he felt knowing he wasn’t going to be running into Lucas Cabral everywhere he went now that Lucas’s father had shipped him off to Texas.
“You have to try and understand where he’s coming from, Zoey,” Aisha tried to reason with her, “he did lose his brother in the accident, and, well, then there was you and Lucas, and Lucas being on the island every day was always going to remind him of that.”
For a moment, Zoey wants to bring up Benjamin’s theory that there was more to it than any of them ever knew, that maybe Lucas hadn’t been driving that night after all, but that was going to do Lucas no good now, so she just shrugged Aisha off and said “I get that, we all miss Wade, but it doesn’t make it any easier knowing I’ve now lost my boyfriend.”
Sweet Valley | Margo Black | Margo doesn't think through the practicalities of killing one of the Wakefield twins and assuming their identity.
Margo had thought it was enough to spend her time watching from the outside in disguise, getting to know everything she could about Elizabeth Wakefield before taking over her life. But while she thought she picked up enough about her current life, every so often that drippy Enid would mention some shared memory she had with Elizabeth from ages ago, which Margo could only bullshit her way through so far.
There was nothing else for it; Margo was going to have to kill her, find some less boring and annoying friends for “Elizabeth” to hang out with.
Riverdale | Any | “Is this going to lead to another horrific story about your childhood?”/“Yes. They all tend to be fairly gruesome, if I’m honest. Although, it only got really bad once I turned sixteen. In some places, that’s considered adulthood.” (Betty, Glenn)
Betty wondered how long it would be before Glenn wished they’d never been assigned to work together. It was starting to feel like every work story he ever shared was something she could somehow link back to something Hal Cooper had done, so she was trying not to get too much into the old stories about him.
Glenn didn’t pry too much into the events when Betty was sixteen; he had access to the police files from the time, so could have found out whatever he wanted anyway; at least that way if he did, she wouldn’t have to rehash it herself.
Any | Any | Reality Show AU (The Legends of Tomorrow)
Ava had thought the Great British Bake Off show would be a great bonding opportunity for the team; she had lists and schedules for them all, what could possibly go wrong?
Plenty, it turned out; first it was Gary dropping his souffle on the floor and ruining it, then Rory was questioned about the speed of his cooking time, which turned out to be because he’d given it a little helping hand, while Zari was just concerned about the show raising her profile on Cat Chat. When it was discovered that Behrad had put weed in his brownies, they were asked to leave; Ava had been all set to let the Legends have it when they were back on the Waverider until Sara calmed her down, pointed out that if it had all gone to plan, it wouldn’t have been a Legends event.
