Libby doesn’t like surprises.
She never has, not since her wedding day when David presented her with the boat as a surprise for the honeymoon they never got to go on. Libby still hates that boat. It’s brought nothing but trouble, from the day David disappeared overboard to the day Desmond sailed off in it never to be seen again.
But hopefully it’ll be different this time. She loves that Hurley’s tried to do something nice for her. He couldn’t possibly know about Libby’s issues with surprises.
And once they have the blankets and wine, it’ll be great.
But when Michael pulls the trigger, Libby realises nothing’s changed.
