lost_in_108 prompt #10: grateful. Charles is grateful that Richard stopped Eloise helping with Jack's plan; Eloise isn't.
Eloise wasn’t sure what was happening when she opened her eyes. Her head was pounding, as though she’d just been hit, but why?
She heard Charles’s voice as if from far away. “What was she thinking, messing with radiation in her condition? I’m grateful you stopped her and brought her back to me, Richard.”
“I’m not sure she’ll agree,” Richard admitted.
Then Eloise remembered everything: the people in the DHARMA uniforms, Richard hitting her over the head…then watching the man fall in front of her. I’m your son.
Richard stopped her from saving Daniel. And if Charles was grateful for that, then he didn’t understand her at all.
